The onion should not bubble too much, never boil the oil, overheated oil will turn black. After adding the powder, the color of the oil should be orange, and it will gradually become light brown after cooking. If the oil color has not become light brown in the minutes after comparison, the oil temperature should be slightly increased, but it should not exceed 0℃. After the cooked oil is done, remove the onion, and filter out the impurities such as Dan with filter paper while it is hot. Pour the oil into the glass bottle, and seal the bottle fully to isolate the air. After the oil bottle is placed in the sun for a long time to dry, the oil color will gradually become clear, and the bottom of the bottle will also be accompanied by white sediment. The sun-cured oil can be used for painting. Mati resin and turpentine 6∶4 ratio of gentle heating and melting, and the same amount of tested oil (cooked oil) stirred to synthesize paste medium, can be used for classical transparent painting. If the cooked oil and resin oil are stored for a period of time (cooked oil for one month, resin oil for about ten days) and then mixed, its color will be clearer and cleaner.

The tested oil can be prepared by adding % gloss oil and % turpentine oil.
